Starting this November, Air Tahiti Nui will introduce the first of its brand new 787-9 Dreamliners with service between Los Angeles and Papeete, Tahiti.

Special introductory fares are available for $787 roundtrip, valid for travel from November 20, 2018 through May 31, 2019.

Air Tahiti Nui's Dreamliner service will operate three to four flights weekly to start, until the delivery of additional Dreamliners allows the carrier to replace its existing fleet by next year. That means those who have their heart set on flying aboard the new Dreamliner should confirm the aircraft before booking because it may be an A340-300 until the older fleet is swapped out.

Searching Air Tahiti Nui, we found seats on the 787-9 departing LAX on Friday, November 23, returning from PPT on Wednesday, December 5.

Tickets must be booked by October 1.
