Q: I've never cruised before, but I'm prone to seasickness. Are there areas on a cruise ship where I'm likely to experience less turbulence if the seas get rough?
A: Choose a cabin in the middle of the ship, as low in the vessel as possible. Ironically, many of the most "desirable" premium cabins on modern floating hotels are at the very front or back of the ship, and high up. These cabins afford the most spectacular views, but tend to really feel it if old Neptune gets angry.
