Australia on Sale: Flights From All Over the US Starting at $633 Roundtrip

We're here to let you in on a little secret. It looks like tickets on Air Canada to destinations in Australia are even cheaper than advertised! When booking through a third-party site like Priceline or Orbitz, we've noticed already cheap fares to Oz dropping by an additional $200-300 lower than the posted rates, mates!

The cheapest flights we've found are for February through April departures with fares from West Coast airports starting at $633 roundtrip, and just $788+ on itineraries leaving East Coast cities!

Your tourism dollars can play a big part in Australia's recovery efforts to help bounce back from recent bushfires, so what better time than now to book that dream trip Down Under.

Travel Availability

Travel Period: Lowest fares can be found from mid-February through the end of April, but price drops apply on itineraries beyond that travel window.
Travel Days of the Week: Cheapest travel days are on Monday and Wednesdays for most city pairs. However, other travel days from Sunday through Thursday may be available on select routes.

Some itineraries, mainly from East Coast airports, may require two connections. If your nearest airport isn't listed below, that doesn't mean it's not on sale. Nearly all routes that are operated by Air Canada are receiving these price drops, so check and see if you can find an itinerary with a hidden price drop.

Sale Period

This sale is unadvertised and fares may jump at any moment.

These prices are only found when booking via a third-party site such as Priceline*. Air Canada's site will yield higher fares. Click on the fare details for booking info.

*Don't worry about the price fluctuation on the screen where you fill in your travel info. Once that is submitted, the price will drop to the listed rate when it is time to enter your billing information.

Baggage

Sale fares include a carry-on bag, a personal item, and two free checked bags up to 50lbs/23kg each.

Seat Assignments

Seats will be assigned at random upon check-in. You may be able to pay a fee to choose a specific seat.

Example Booking

Searching Priceline, I found seats departing Dallas DFW on Monday, March 9, with a return flight from Melbourne MEL on Monday, March 23, 2020, for $808 roundtrip.
