Looking to put a little spring into your step? Southwest Airlines is here to help with its latest fare sale for departures throughout the spring. Valid on over 4,000 routes, there's sure to be a destination that fits the bill and a little extra time for you to plan it out, as this nationwide sale is bookable through next week instead of the standard 3-day sales of late.
Similar to previous prices, one-way tickets start as low as $39 or $78 roundtrip on interisland Hawaii flights, and domestic flights across the continental United States begin at just $94 roundtrip. There are also several deals on international flights.
Travel Availability
- Travel Period: Now through May 20, 2020, with a 14-day advance purchase for continental U.S. travel.
- Travel Days of the Week: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays for most routes. See info below for different travel days for specific markets.
- Blackout Dates: None listed.
Departures to Las Vegas and select Florida airports are available Sunday through Wednesday; Travel from Las Vegas and certain cities in Florida is valid Tuesday through Friday.
Routes outside the continental U.S. may require a 21-day advance purchase. Interisland Hawaiian fares are valid for travel Mondays through Thursdays. Tickets to/from San Juan, Puerto Rico are valid Mondays through Thursdays, through March 5, and April 14 - May 14, 2020.
International travel is valid through March 5, and April 14 - May 14, 2020. Trips to Mexico are valid Sundays through Wednesdays; Travel from Mexico is valid Tuesdays through Fridays. All other international travel is open Mondays through Thursdays.

Some routes may be seasonal or begin service in the spring. A few markets only have nonstop flights on limited days of the week.

Baggage
Sale fares include a carry-on bag, a personal item, and two free checked bags up to 50lbs/23kg each.
Seat Assignments
Southwest has an open seating policy, which means there are no assigned seats, and you'll get to choose your place during boarding. The order of boarding is determined by the time of check-in, so check-in exactly 24 hours before departure or pay for priority boarding for a better choice of seat.
