Travel Availability
- Travel Period: January through May, and September through October.
- Travel Days of the Week: Scattered travel dates vary depending on each route.
- Blackout Dates: Peak summer travel between late May and August.
The availability of sale fares varies by route. The lowest fares are generally for winter travel on year-round routes. For seasonal routes, the lowest fares will be available in April/May and/or September/October. Baggage
Norwegian's LowFare only includes a maximum combined weight of 22 lbs. between your carry-on bag and personal item. Checked bag fees start at $50 each way when purchased online. Prices at the airport are significantly higher.
Seat Assignments
Seats will be assigned at random upon check-in for these prices. You may pay a fee to choose a specific seat.
Other Notes
Meals and snack services are not included in Noreweigan's LowFare. Refreshments may be purchased on board.

Alternate Fares
Norwegian sells a LowFare+ option, which varies in extra cost. It includes one free checked bag and free meals onboard for all routes. The LowFare+ option also includes seat selection on all routes except flights to London, Barcelona, and Madrid. Seat selection fees will still apply for LowFare+ fares to England and Spain.
Major carriers such as American, Delta, United, British Airways, Iberia, and Air France often match Norwegian fares with similar prices in the major markets. Make sure to compare fares across all airlines and total costs depending on your travel preferences.
Example Booking
As an example, I found a one-way flight from Boston BOS to London LGW, departing on Monday, March 9, for $120 USD. For the return flight, I found a one-way flight from London back to Boston on Monday, March 16, for 135 GBP ($177 USD).
