This week's latest nationwide sale from Southwest Airlines features one-way tickets as low as $39 or $78 roundtrip on interisland Hawaii flights. Mainland domestic flights can be purchased for as little as $98 roundtrip, and several international routes are seeing sale fares just in time for a winter or spring break getaway.
With thousands of routes receiving price cuts, something is bound to catch your eye and get you up in the sky.
Travel Availability
- Travel Period: Now through May 20, 2020, with a 14-day advance purchase for continental U.S. travel.
- Travel Days of the Week: Monday - Thursday & Saturdays.
- Blackout Dates: November 30 - December 2, December 21-23, 26-30, 2019, and January 4-5, 2020; Other markets have different blackout dates listed below.
Departures to Las Vegas and select Florida airports are available Sunday through Wednesday; Travel from Las Vegas and certain cities in Florida is valid Tuesday through Friday.
Routes outside the continental U.S. require a 21-day advance purchase. Interisland Hawaiian fares are valid for travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with blackout dates from December 19, 2019 - January 6, 2020. Tickets to/from San Juan, Puerto Rico are valid Mondays through Thursdays, through December 5, 2019, January 13 - March 5, and April 14 - May 14, 2020.
International travel is valid through December 11, 2019, and January 7 - March 5, and April 14 - May 14, 2020. Trips to Mexico are valid Sundays through Wednesdays; Travel from Mexico is valid Tuesdays through Fridays. All other international travel is valid Mondays through Thursdays.

Sale fares include a carry-on bag, a personal item, and two free checked bags up to 50lbs/23kg each.
Seat Assignments
Southwest has an open seating policy, which means there are no assigned seats, and you'll get to choose your place during boarding. The order of boarding is determined by the time of check-in, so check-in exactly 24 hours before departure or pay for priority boarding for a better choice of seat.
