Sun Country flights can now be booked for summer 2020 travel and the niche airline has added several new routes to go along with its latest schedule extension. The 12 new routes added include 4 brand new destinations for Sun Country Airlines and intro fares for summer travel are as low as $117 roundtrip.
Sun Country Adds Service to Baltimore, Cleveland, Portland, and Bozeman
New service begins in May or June from Minneapolis (MSP), Dallas (DFW), and Madison (MSN). Sun Country is expanding to 5 of its existing US domestic destinations from Madison and 3 international cities from Dallas. From Minneapolis, Sun Country will add 4 brand new cities to its route map in Baltimore (BWI), Cleveland (CLE), Portland, Maine (PWM), and Bozeman (BZN).
All of the new routes from Minneapolis will compete directly with Delta except for Portland, Maine, where Sun Country will fly the only nonstop flight between the two cities. The Baltimore route also competes with Spirit Airlines and Southwest. All routes from Dallas will compete directly with American Airlines with Spirit Airlines also flying to Los Cabos. From Madison, Sun Country will only compete directly with United on its new route to Newark. All other new routes from Madison will only be served nonstop by Sun Country Airlines. Alternate Fares
Since Sun Country's lowest fares only include a small personal item and these routes have very limited service, make sure to compare with other airlines, such as Delta, American, Alaska, and Southwest. These airlines may offer similar fares to match these new low fares from Sun Country and will include at least a normal carry-on bag plus one personal item. United may price match as well, but its Basic Economy fares include the same amount of luggage as Sun Country.

As an example, I found nonstop flights departing Minneapolis MSP on Sun Country's inaugural flight to Bozeman, Wednesday, June 3, returning from Bozeman BZN on Wednesday, June 10, for $177 roundtrip.
