San Diego – New York $237 Roundtrip on American, Delta, or JetBlue
Lace-up your ice skates in Rockefeller Center or get your holiday shopping done in style with this cross-country deal departing San Diego to New York-JFK for only $237 roundtrip. Nonstop flights are available on most dates onboard American, JetBlue and Delta Air Lines starting in early December with return flights through March 4, 2020. Peak holiday travel is blacked out, but travel is easy to find with multiple airlines competing on the route. As an example, I was able to find seats departing SAN on Wednesday, December 4, and returning from JFK on Tuesday, December 10, 2019. One-way flights are also available for $119.

New York – Turks & Caicos $275 Roundtrip on JetBlue
Visit Tripadvisor’s #1 Beach of last year, Grace Bay in beautiful Turks & Caicos. Nonstop flights from New York-JFK to Providenciales are available for just $275 roundtrip courtesy of JetBlue. Daily departures at this price possible between October and early March. As an example, searching the JetBlue site, I saw seats departing JFK on Thursday, January 9, and returning from PLS on Tuesday, January 13, 2020. Perfect for an extended weekend winter escape to paradise.

Los Angeles – Missoula $197 Roundtrip on Alaska
Attention all you city slickers get back in touch with nature in a place where a traffic jam involves a herd of bison crossing the road. Fly nonstop from Los Angeles to Missoula, Montana for $197 roundtrip with one of Alaska Airlines newest routes starting this March. Departures at this price are available on Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, from March 24 through the end of the booking calendar in August. As an example, searching Alaska's website, I found an itinerary departing LAX on Saturday, July 11, and returning from MSO on Tuesday, July 14, 2020. An excellent price for peak summer travel!

Newark – West Palm Beach $97 Roundtrip on United
Fly nonstop from Newark to West Palm Beach $97 roundtrip on United this winter. Flights at this price are available departing on select Tuesday and Wednesdays starting on December 10 through March 11, 2020. Return flights may be open on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays on occasion. Searching United's website, I found seats available departing EWR on Wednesday, January 8, with a return leg from PBI on Saturday, January 11, 2020. Keep in mind that United's Basic Economy fares only include one personal item onboard like a laptop bag, small backpack, or purse.

Washington DC – Moscow $364 Roundtrip on SkyTeam Partners
Travel from Capitol Hill to the Kremlin, here’s a fare linking up two cities steeped in politics. Onboard SkyTeam partners like Delta, Air France, and KLM, fly from Washington DC-Dulles to Moscow-Sheremetyevo for $364 roundtrip through April. Starting this November, you'll find travel at this price on Monday through Thursday departures with a Saturday night minimum stay required. On KLM, I secured seats departing IAD on Tuesday, December 3, with a return leg from SVO on Thursday, December 12, 2020.

Houston – Bangkok $537 Roundtrip on ANA and United
Fly on five-star ANA from Houston-IAH to Bangkok for $537 roundtrip this winter or spring. Flights between these two airports are easiest to find departing on Monday through Thursday beginning in late November through March, with returns available into April. United might operate some flights, but if you're flexible with travel dates, you should be able to get ANA metal on most legs of your journey. For example, I found ANA flights departing Houston IAH on Thursday, December 5, and returning from BKK on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at this price point. If you'd like to stop in Tokyo along the way, ANA allows for a paid stop costing $100 on either direction of your itinerary.

Pittsburgh – Tampa $178 Roundtrip on Southwest
The latest Southwest Airlines sale has some great deals for fall travel, like this one connecting Pittsburgh and Tampa for $178 roundtrip. As the only nonstop option between these two airports other than Spirit. Southwest is the way to go, especially if you like to pack on the heavy side since two bags still fly free. Flights departing Pittsburg are available Sunday through Wednesday and return flights from Tampa are valid Tuesday through Friday in November and early December. Southwest itineraries can only be purchased on the airline's website, where I found seats available departing PIT on Wednesday, November 6 and returning from TPA on Thursday, November 14, 2019.

San Francisco – Guatemala City $270 Roundtrip on Copa Airlines
Are you looking for a destination off the beaten path to visit this fall or winter? Give Guatemala a go! Monkeys, macaws, and iguanas are awaiting your visit when you fly from San Francisco to Guatemala City for $270 roundtrip on Copa Airlines. Take off daily except for Saturday in October and then again from late January through April. As an example, I found seats departing SFO on Monday, October 7, and returning from GUA on Tuesday, October 15, 2019. Checked bag included in the price!

The latest Frontier Sale is a good one, with 75% off base fares on Monday through Thursday and Saturday departures. Using promo code SAVE75, you can score a deal like this jackpot here: fly from Atlanta to Las Vegas for $91 roundtrip on flights through October 9, 2019. The window may be small, but the savings are huge. Searching on Frontier's site with the code, I found seats departing ATL on Monday, September 30, and returning from LAS on Thursday, October 3, 2019. This limited-time sale ends tonight at midnight (September 16, 2019).

Seattle – Brussels $445 Roundtrip on Icelandair
With WOW air out of the picture (for now), Icelandair has been doubling down on its sales lately. Here’s a sweet deal from the carrier’s latest bargain fares to Brussels, fly from Seattle to Brussels, Belgium for $445 roundtrip this fall or winter. Flights are available daily from October 1 through March 30, 2020, with blackout dates between December 13 and January 5, 2020. Best of all turn this trip into a 2-for-1 with Icelandair’s free stopover program allowing for passengers to visit Reykjavik (KEF) on the way to their final destination. As an example, I found tickets at this price departing SEA on Wednesday, October 16, with a return flight from BRU on Thursday, October 24, 2019.
