At some point in your travels, you've probably received a finger-wagging from the TSA for not following the 3-1-1 liquid rules to the letter. After all, it's not always easy to find the toiletries you want in TSA-approved sizes.
But what about scrapping liquids in favor of solid toiletries? That’s one less hassle to slow you down in the security line.
Liquid Free Travel: Solid Alternatives to Liquid Travel Toiletries
You might be surprised by just how many liquid toiletries are now available in solids. Below are some of my liquid-free toiletries for travel. I also included some convenient carrying cases to keep your soaps dry and long-lasting.

Green Tea & Coconut Detangling Conditioner Bar
Sometimes you need more than just regular conditioner. This bar doubles as a detangling one as well. It’s perfect for co-washing and comes in eco-friendly packaging. It’s also great for shaving as well.
Amazon User Review: “This is one of the best things I have found on amazon. Normally I would run through a bottle of conditioner in a little over a week, but this bar lasts me months. It is eco-friendly and gets your hair soft and silky like normal conditioner. I will be buying this product over and over again.”

Soap Box Holder, 2-Pack
Not a new solid, but a great place to keep your solid toiletries. These cases have enough room for about any shampoo/body wash bar that is around the size of a regular soap bar.
Amazon User Review: “Very nicely made and designed so no watery soap will leak out.. also has a mesh bag for small soap pieces.. good idea.”

Dove Men+Care Body and Face Bar, Extra Fresh
This is one of my all-time favorites. The bar is great for guys who want an all in one solution while traveling or just heading to and from the gym. I will admit though that if you want something a bit fancier, I would recommend getting something specifically for your face.

Solid Bar Shampoo Soap. Grapefruit, Rosemary, and Lavender
Take things to the next level with this bar. It’s great for sensitive scalps due to it being sulfate-free, silicone-free, and paraben-free. The shampoo also has hair restoration vitamins and minerals to help get your hair back in shape.
Amazon User Review: “I have baby-fine and elder-thin hair. It is stick straight but super easy to damage so prone to frizzy dryness at the middle/ends, plus my scalp is oily and sensitive. This shampoo bar is incredible. After one use my hair was smoother with oils actually distributed instead of concentrated on my scalp. After 3 days I was losing noticeably less hair in the shower and my hair stayed looking clean longer.”
