Find daily departures at this price throughout September and early October, with returns valid through October 11, 2019. As an example, searching the JetBlue site, I saw seats departing JFK on Friday, September 13, and returning from PLS on Monday, September 16, 2019. Perfect for an extended weekend escape to paradise.

Los Angeles – Beijing $306 Roundtrip on American
Fares to China just seem to keep on dropping, but this is the lowest price we’ve ever seen offered on this route for a nonstop itinerary! Fly from Los Angeles to Beijing for $306 roundtrip, that’s about the average cost for a cross-country domestic flight. This fare offered by American is available daily departures starting September 20 through the end of November, with returns available into December. There's no telling how long this unadvertised fare will stick around. So its best to book soon or use AA.com’s handy hold tool until you figure out all your travel plans. For a sample itinerary, I found tickets at this price departing LAX on Friday, October 18, and returning from PEK on Sunday, October 27, 2019. Other dates are widely available in the listed travel window.

Baltimore – Los Angeles $228 Roundtrip on Southwest
Pack your (two) bags and head west! Check out this terrific transcontinental flight deal from our friends at Southwest. Fly nonstop from Baltimore to Los Angeles on select dates in late August through mid-December for only $228 roundtrip. Flights are available most weekdays except on Sundays with the most seat availability in September and November. Searching Southwest’s website, I found seats departing BWI on Monday, September 2 and returning from LAX on Saturday, September 7, 2019. Thanksgiving travel dates not available at this price.

Portland – Newark $237 Roundtrip on Alaska
Here’s another coast-to-coast deal that’s seeing a sweet price drop! Make your trail from Oregon to Newark for $237 roundtrip with the latest round-up of Alaska Airline's web specials. Tickets at this price-point are available daily (except for Sunday) starting on October 18 through November 20, 2019. If you're a United flyer, you can find them price matching on most dates with even more availability starting in September. The downside, only a personal size item allowed onboard at this price. That's why I'd stick with Alaska, where I was able to find seats for this fare departing PDX on Tuesday, October 29, and returning from EWR on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. Perfect for a ghoulishly good time in NYC over Halloween.

Orlando– London $341 Roundtrip on British Airways or Virgin Atlantic
While London-Heathrow gets lots of attention for flight searches, you're missing out if you're not including London's second-largest airport when looking for airfare deals. Take this deal on British Airways and Virgin for example. Fly nonstop from Orlando to London-Gatwick for $341 roundtrip this fall or winter. Midweek flights are available from October 9 through March 2020. Peak summer and holiday dates blacked out. Searching, BA.com, I found seats departing MCO on Tuesday, November 26, and returning from LGW on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. Perfect for a Thanksgiving getaway. This fare books into the basic economy fare bucket, meaning only carry-on luggage is allowed at this price.
