Alternate Fares
Delta's Main Cabin Economy fare is only $30 more roundtrip, which comes to $147. This will include advanced seat assignments and allows ticket changes/upgrades for a fee. A checked bag costs the same $30 each way.
JetBlue's Blue Plus Fare is $56 more roundtrip, which comes to $173. This will include one piece of checked luggage and is a cheaper option than paying for baggage at the airport.
Some routes may have similar or slightly lower fares on Frontier and Spirit, but these airlines only include a small personal item at the lowest fares and you'll likely pay more in the end if you are unable to travel that light.
