Los Angeles – London $396 Roundtrip on Virgin Atlantic or United

Sub-$400 flight deals to London from the West Coast are hard to come by so we recommend you grab this fare while you can. Jet set from Los Angeles to London-Heathrow for only $396 roundtrip on Virgin Atlantic or United Airlines as both airlines play monkey see, monkey do and price match. Departures open up in October with returns bookable through the end of March 2020. Better yet, this fare is available daily so you can take advantage of schedule friendly Friday departures and Sunday returns. As an example, I found seats departing LAX on Friday, November 8, with a return leg from LHR leaving Sunday, November 17, 2019. Peak holiday travel blacked out.

Newark – Orlando $117 Roundtrip on United

Take to the skies like Dumbo, and fly down to Disney with this terrific fare for late summer travel. If you can’t use your ears, United is here to help with flights from Newark to Orlando for only $117 roundtrip. Nonstop departures at this price can be found on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in September, with returns available into October. Searching United’s site, I was able to come up with an itinerary departing EWR on Wednesday, September 4, with a return flight from MCO on Tuesday, September 10, 2019. Seattle – Shanghai $466 Roundtrip on Hainan

Fly nonstop from Seattle to Shanghai, China for $466 roundtrip this fall or winter on five-star rated Hainan Airlines. Hainan is currently offering a seriously good Summer Sale at the moment for flights departing between September and March of 2020. Departures on this route are available on Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays throughout the listed travel window with only peak holiday dates blacked out. On Hainan's website, where you’ll have the easiest time searching for these fares, I was able to find tickets at this price departing SEA on Monday, October 21, and returning from PVG on Wednesday, October 30, 2019. Two pieces of checked luggage included!

Kansas City – Los Angeles $158 Roundtrip on Southwest

Southwest’s latest Fall sale is still going strong so if you haven’t had a chance to see what’s available from your neck of the woods head click on over to see what’s marked down. Take this fantastic fare deal for example; fly nonstop from Kansas City to Los Angeles for $158 roundtrip through December. Inventory opens up in August with departures from MCI available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the odd Saturday departure date mixed in here and there. On Southwest’s site, the only place you can purchase tickets directly, I found seats departing MCI on Tuesday, August 20, and returning from LAX on Tuesday, August 27, 2019. As always two bags fly free on Southwest so pack along everything you think you might need for California Dreamin’.

San Francisco – Portland $97 Roundtrip on Sun Country

Sun Country's latest Featured Fare sale ends on Monday so make sure to have a look what's being marked down from the expanding airline. Here's a deal for peak summer travel to one of the carrier’s growing focus airports PDX, fly nonstop between San Francisco and Portland, Oregon for only $97 roundtrip, or $49 one-way. Travel is available at this price on Wednesdays through Saturday, and Monday, beginning July 31 through September 1, 2019. Searching Sun Country’s site, I saw seats departing SFO on Friday, August 23, returning from PDX on Monday, August 26, 2019, perfect for a weekend getaway. Take note; only one small personal item is included. You’ll have to pay $30 each way for a full-sized carry on or checked bag.
