Chicago – Quito $382 Roundtrip on Copa Airlines

Need an escape from the wind chill coming off Lake Michigan this fall or winter? How about heading to South America for a sunny getaway. Fly from Chicago-ORD to Quito, Ecuador for $382 roundtrip on Copa Airlines starting in September. This deal is available daily from September 3 through the end of November with returns available into December. As an example, I found tickets at this price departing ORD on Friday, September 13 and returning from UIO on Sunday, September 22, 2019. One free checked bag included.

Ft. Lauderdale – Nashville $136 Roundtrip on JetBlue

Save your jukebox money for some real tunes in happening Nashville. Home to some of the best live music venues in the country those of you in Southern Florida should definitely make the visit. JetBlue is here to help to the tune of $136 roundtrip for nonstop flights between Ft. Lauderdale and Music City USA. Trips at this price are available on select days through the middle of June then again from August through September. Searching JetBlue, I found seats available departing FLL on Wednesday, August 7 and returning from BNA on Monday, August 12, 2019.

Newark – Dubai $800 Roundtrip on Emirates

Fly nonstop from Newark to Dubai, UAE for $800 roundtrip on Emirates this fall. Departures at this price are available Monday through Thursday from late August through the middle of November, with return flights available in early December. You'll have the most luck with flights departing on Monday and Tuesday in the fall months. As an example, searching on the Emirates site, I found seats leaving EWR on Tuesday, September 10 and returning from DXB on Monday, September 23, 2019.

Denver – Phoenix $98 Roundtrip on Southwest

Looking for some fun in the desert sun? Then fly off to Phoenix from Denver for $98 roundtrip on Southwest to heat things up. Fares are available at $49 one-way departing on select Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Saturdays starting from June 5 through October 30, 2019. Searching on Southwest's site, the only place you can book directly, I found seats available departing DEN on Tuesday, June 11, with return flights from PHX on Tuesday, June 18, 2019.

Boston – Barcelona $234 Roundtrip on Delta

In my opinion, fall is the best time to visit Barcelona, and with a fare deal this low I think you'll agree. Avoid the crowds and save big by waiting until summer season is over and fly from Boston to Barcelona for $234 roundtrip on Delta Air Lines. Departures are available on Tuesdays and Wednesday starting from October 22 through March 2020. Fares book into Delta’s Basic Economy fare bucket, so pack lightly or pay for a checked bag, because Main Cabin is a bit steep at $414 roundtrip. Searching Delta, I found tickets at this price departing BOS on Wednesday, November 13, with a return leg from BCN on Wednesday, November 20, 2019.

Los Angeles – Hong Kong $385 Roundtrip on Air Canada

Here’s a nice price drop on one of our more popular routes. Fly from Los Angeles to Hong Kong for $385 roundtrip on Air Canada this fall or winter. Flights at this price point are valid for Monday through Thursday travel starting in early September through November, then again from January through March 2020. Peak holiday dates blacked out. I was able to see flights at this price departing LAX on Tuesday, November 5 and returning from HKG on Thursday, November 21, 2019.

Houston – Orlando $97 Roundtrip on United

Fly nonstop from Houston-Intercontinental to Orlando for $97 roundtrip on United Airlines this September. Dates are selling out quickly, but you should be able to find a fare that works for your travel date if you can fly on a Tuesday or a Thursday between August 20 and September 17, 2019. If you're having trouble finding a roundtrip ticket in that period try booking a one-way fare for $49 and return on another carrier. Searching United, I found tickets at this price departing IAH on Tuesday, August 27, with a return flight from MCO on Tuesday, September 10, 2019.

Atlanta – Los Angeles $140 Roundtrip on Frontier

Frontier Airlines is back with another promo code deal for thrifty flyers to take advantage of. Travel nonstop on one of the carrier’s transcontinental routes from Atlanta to Los Angeles for just $140 roundtrip by entering SAVE75 when booking on FlyFrontier.com. Flights are limited to select days May and June, but at nearly half of what Delta is charging for nonstop, you won't be able to find a better deal out there on this city-to-city route. Using the promo code on Frontier's site, I was able to see tickets pricing out at this rate departing ATL on Tuesday, May 14, and leaving LAX on Tuesday, May 21, 2019.

Miami – Prague $513 Roundtrip on Multiple Airlines

Fares to Europe sure have been cheap, but certain destinations don't see as many deals. Prague, for example, is always pricing higher than most other destinations in Europe, so when we see a good deal to this top destination, we have to post it. Fly from Miami to Prague, Czechia for $513 roundtrip this fall. You'll have your choice of airlines like American, United, British Airways, and Delta are all offering competing prices on this route. To search for this fare use a third-party site like Priceline or Expedia, where I found tickets available departing MIA on Wednesday, November 13, with a return leg from PRG on Wednesday, November 23, 2019. Flights at this price are available daily.

San Francisco – Atlanta $187 Roundtrip on United

Here’s a fantastic coast-to-coast deal. Fly nonstop from San Francisco to Atlanta for $187 roundtrip in late summer and fall on United Airlines. Flights are available on select days of the week starting in early August through November 9, 2019. Most departures are available on Saturdays, but you will see other days of the week available in certain months. Using Google Flights, I found seats departing SFO on Wednesday, October 30 and returning from ATL on Saturday, November 2, 2019.
