Chicago – Seattle $163 Roundtrip on Alaska Airlines

Fly nonstop from Chicago-ORD to Seattle or vice-versa for $163 roundtrip in late summer or fall on Alaska Airlines. Seats are available daily starting on August 28 through the end of October. Searching Alaska’s site, I found inventory at the listed price leaving ORD on Friday, October 25 and returning from SEA on Sunday, October 27, 2019, allowing for a lovely weekend getaway to the Pacific Northwest. One-way flights are available for purchase at 82 dollars.

Los Angeles – Chengdu $316 Roundtrip on Hainan

Fly nonstop from Los Angeles to Chengdu, China for $316 roundtrip this winter on five-star Hainan Airlines. Hainan is currently offering an Early Bird sale for flights in late February and March of 2020, so if you’re the type to plan way ahead, you'll be able to score some substantial savings on your airfare. Flights are available on Sundays and Wednesdays from February 23 through March 25, 2020. Searching Hainan's website, the only place that I've been able to find these fares, I was able to price out a ticket for this rate departing LAX on Sunday, February 23, and returning from CTU on Sunday, March 15, 2020. Two pieces of checked luggage included.

New York – Venice $395 Roundtrip on TAP Air Portugal

TAP Air Portugal is back again with its fantastic fares to Italy, for example, fly from New York to Venice, Italy for $395 roundtrip this fall or winter. Flights in the fall are selling out quickly with scattered availability in November. But the bulk of the inventory for this fare you’ll find from mid-January 2020 onward. While most TAP fares require an extended layover, this fare deal has quick and easy connections on most itineraries. However, if you'd like to spend some time in Lisbon along the way, TAP allows for free stopovers on all tickets. I was able to find seats at this price departing JFK on Thursday, January 23 and returning from VCE on Friday, January 31, 2020.

Denver – Las Vegas $98 Roundtrip on Southwest

Southwest’s sale might’ve ended yesterday, but that doesn’t mean the airline still won’t offer some great fare deals. Try your luck with this fare we found today to Sin City. Fly nonstop from Denver to Vegas for $98 roundtrip through October. Inventory opens up in June with departures from DEN available on select Sundays through Wednesdays; returns from Las Vegas are available on Tuesdays through Fridays. Some peak summer travel can be found midweek in July and August, but I don’t think that’s always the best time of year to visit Vegas. On Southwest’s site, the only place you can purchase tickets directly, I found seats departing DEN on Tuesday, June 18, and returning from LAS on Tuesday, June 25, 2019.

Dallas – Cozumel $294 Roundtrip on Sun Country

Sun Country's latest Featured Fare sale ends on Tuesday so make sure to have a look what's being marked down from the expanding airline. Here's a deal on one of the carrier’s new seasonal summer routes. Fly nonstop from Dallas-DFW to Cozumel, Mexico for $294 roundtrip. This price can be found for travel on Thursdays and Sundays, starting June 4 through August 11, 2019, perfect for an extended weekend getaway. Searching Sun Country’s site, I saw seats departing DFW on Thursday, June 11, returning from CZM on Sunday, June 14, 2019. Be aware; only one small personal item is included. You’ll have to pay $30 each way for a carry-on or checked bag.
