Some are part of ongoing sales, and some are unadvertised price drops that may only last for a limited time. New York – Maui $536 Roundtrip on Hawaiian

With Southwest only operating flights from the West Coast, you might think fares from the East coasters would still be stuck paying a premium. Luckily that's not the case as we're seeing some fantastic deals from airports over on the Atlantic side too. Like this great fare we’ve found to Maui departing New York-JFK for $536 roundtrip on Hawaiian Airlines. Flights are available departing as soon as today! Fly through early May then again from late August through the end of the booking calendar in March 2020. For a sample itinerary, I found tickets at this price departing JFK on Thursday, May 2 with a return from OGG available on Sunday, May 12, 2019. That’s a phenomenal fare for a last-minute exotic escape!

Baltimore – Cancun $289 Roundtrip on American

Fly from Baltimore to Cancun for $289 roundtrip on American Airlines this spring, summer, or fall. Flights at this price open up in early May with departures valid through the middle of November with returns in December possible. Travel days will vary by week, but for the most part, you'll find the largest amount of inventory for midweek travel. Take a shot with this itinerary departing BWI on Wednesday, May 8 and returning from CUN on Wednesday, May 15, 2019.

Chicago – Nairobi $612 Roundtrip on SkyTeam Partners

Check that African Safari box off your bucket list with this deal from Delta and its SkyTeam partners Air France, KLM, and Kenya Airways. Fly from Chicago-ORD to Nairobi, Kenya for $612 roundtrip this fall or winter. Flights are available on scattered dates from late September through the end of booking calendar in March 2020; peak holiday dates blacked out. As an example, I was able to find tickets at this price departing ORD on Sunday, November 24 and returning from NBO on Sunday, December 1, 2019. Most itineraries have short and easy layovers in Paris or Amsterdam, but some may have overnights, but those can be avoided if you have a flexible travel window.

Boston – Toronto $197 Roundtrip on Porter Airlines

Fly to Toronto’s other/more convenient airport Billy Bishop, just a short hop across the inner harbor to the city center or centre if you will. Using Porter Airline's latest promo code deal, by entering 6O8484 when booking you'll save an additional 30% off basic fare base prices. With that promo applied, I found tickets from Boston to Toronto-YTZ for USD 197 roundtrip for spring travel through June. When I visited the Porter website, the code was already applied to my search when I was looking for a ticket departing BOS on Wednesday, May 15, with a return flight from YTZ on Wednesday, May 22, 2019.

Denver – Nashville $98 Roundtrip on Southwest

Heat up your summer with some Nashville Hot Chicken this year. Fly nonstop from Denver to Nashville for $98 roundtrip on Southwest through July. Departures are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting as soon as next week through July 31, 2019. I was able to find a peak summer trip in July at this price departing DEN on Wednesday, July 24 and returning from BNA on Tuesday, July 30, 2019. As always two bags fly free on Southwest so pack along that extra set of cowboy boots and guitar and see if you’re the next big star on Honky Tonk Row.

Los Angeles – Orlando $187 Roundtrip on Delta and American

Travel from Disneyland to Disney World with this great deal from Delta and American Airlines. Fly nonstop from Los Angeles to Orlando for $187 roundtrip from late August through early December. Flights are available any day of the week except Sunday, but you will have the most luck with mid-week departures. Availability is a bit scattered in November and some weeks in October but if you play around you should be able to find something that works for. Alternatively, try splitting the ticket into two separate one-way itineraries between both airlines for broader availability. I found tickets at this price departing LAX on Wednesday, October 9 and returning from MCO on Tuesday, October 15, 2019.

Dallas/Ft. Worth – Lima $260 Roundtrip on Interjet

In case you missed our post last month on great Central and South America fares from Interjet, you’re still in luck as these unadvertised deals have stuck just come back. Take this fare as an example, fly from Dallas-DFW to Lima, Peru for only $260 roundtrip this fall. Flights are available any day of the week starting in late October through November on this route. Seats are selling out rapidly so get a jump on it as travel days are disappearing from the calendar quickly. I was able to find an itinerary at this price departing DFW on Monday, October 28, with a return leg from LIM leaving on Thursday, November 7, 2019. One free checked bag included in addition to standard carry-on limits!

Philadelphia – Ft. Lauderdale $157 Roundtrip on JetBlue or American

Fly nonstop from Philly to Ft. Lauderdale on either JetBlue or American for $157 roundtrip through December. Scattered availability at this price is left on just a few midweek departures in late May and June, the bulk of seats for this fare can be found from late August onward. September looks to have the most availability, where I found an itinerary on AA.com departing PHL on Sunday, September 1, and returning from FLL on Sunday, September 8, 2019.

Washington DC – Malta $530 Roundtrip on Virgin America

Explore one of Europe’s hidden gems and travel from Washington DC-IAD to Valetta, Malta for $530 roundtrip on Virgin Atlantic and Air Malta. Flights for this fare are available starting in late October through the end of booking schedule in March 2020. Flights are available daily with a connection in London. Overnights may be required on the return leg, but think of it as a 2-for-1 and explore London before your trip back to DC along the way. You’ll need to book this fare on a third-party site like Expedia where I found seats departing IAD on Saturday, November 9, and returning from MLA on Sunday, November 17, 2019, at this price. Dates for this fare are wide-open in 2020, so you'll have no problem booking a winter island escape.

Richmond – New York $127 Roundtrip on American and Delta

Are you looking to spend your summer strolling around Central Park? Delta or American Airlines can help you out with flights from Richmond to New York-LaGuardia for just $127 roundtrip available in peak summer months. If you’d like to visit another time of year, then you’re in luck; this fare is available year-round at this price for travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. As an example, I found seats departing RIC on Wednesday, July 3, and returning from LGA on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, perfect for a 4^th of July weekend trip for big city lights and fireworks.
