New York – Nantucket $159 Roundtrip on JetBlue

Fly nonstop to Nantucket from New York-JFK this summer on JetBlue for $159 roundtrip. Sun yourself on sandy beaches starting on May 19 through mid-October at this price. The key to finding fares at this price is that you will have to depart on a Sunday, Monday, or select Tuesdays, returns are open Tuesday through Saturdays. Searching JetBlue’s website, I found seats departing JFK on Sunday, June 30, and returning from ACK on Friday, July 5, 2019. Perfect for spending the 4th away from the city and on the island.

Los Angeles – Santiago $640 Roundtrip on Copa

South America rarely goes on sale, so when we see a great fare to Santiago, we have to post it. Fly from Los Angeles to the capital of Chile for $640 roundtrip on Copa Airlines this spring, late summer, or fall. Daily flights can be found on select days in May, but the fare really opens up from late August through November. With the seasons flipped, flying down in November is a great time weather wise as Santiago heads into summer. Searching Copa’s site I found tickets at this price departing LAX on Tuesday, November 19 and returning from SCL on Thursday, November 28, 2019, stretching over the Thanksgiving holiday. Swap out the Turkey for some ceviche and empanadas.

Austin – Denver $98 Roundtrip on Southwest

Southwest’s sale might’ve ended yesterday, but that doesn’t mean the airline still won’t offer some great fare deals. Here’s one we found today, fly nonstop from Austin to Denver for $98 roundtrip through October. Inventory opens up as soon as next week for Tuesday, Wednesday, and occasionally Thursday travel through June, then again from September onward. On Southwest’s site, the only place you can purchase tickets directly, I found seats departing AUS on Wednesday, May 29, and returning from DEN on Tuesday, June 4, 2019. July and August travel not available at this price.

Newark – Rome $326 Roundtrip on TAP Air Portugal

TAP Air Portugal is back at it with fantastic fares to Europe, take this one, for example, fly from Newark to Rome for $326 roundtrip this fall or winter. Flights in the fall are selling out quickly with scattered availability in November, and early December, the bulk of inventory for this fare can be found from mid-January 2020 onward. While most TAP fares require an extended layover, this fare deal has quick and easy connections, but if you'd like to spend some time in Lisbon or Porto along the way, TAP allows for free stopovers on all tickets. I was able to find tickets at this price departing EWR on Friday, January 24 and returning from FCO on Friday, January 31, 2020.

Denver – Beijing $403 Roundtrip on United

Fly from Denver to Beijing for $403 roundtrip on United this spring or fall. Daily flights are available for last minute travel as soon as next week with departures through early May, but if that’s too soon for you, this price opens back up in late August through November, with returns available into December. This fare is pretty wide open and easy to find, as an example, I found tickets departing DEN on Friday, September 6 with a return leg from PEK on Sunday, September 15, 2019.
