If you’re looking for a cheap flight to the Caribbean, you’ll find plenty of options on major carriers like American, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest, and United. But if you live in a major North American gateway, don’t forget about airlines based in the region such as Caribbean Airlines and Bahamsair, which are often priced competitively.

Find Out Where Airlines of the Caribbean Fly

Once you’ve landed in the Caribbean, there are several small airlines flying within the region that can fulfill all of your island-hopping dreams and days spent on unspoiled beaches. These are usually on small “puddle-jumper” aircraft, which provide amazing views of the islands when flying at low altitudes. Here’s a roundup of where some of these airlines based in the Caribbean can take you.

Larger Airlines Based in the Caribbean

Air Caraibes

Air Caraibes is based in France and is mainly used to connect Paris with the Caribbean, but there is also a regional branch of the airline that is based in Guadeloupe (PTP). Flights are available within the French Caribbean and to the island of Hispaniola, which includes Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Air Caraibes also partners with other airlines in the region to connect passengers all over the Caribbean. Its website is only in French, so you’ll have to translate the page in your browser if you’re not fluent.
