Newark – Venice $396 Roundtrip on TAP Portugal

The incredible deals to Europe from TAP Air Portugal are surprisingly still alive and kicking! So if you’ve been putting it off, here’s your chance, I wouldn’t expect them to stick around for much longer as we’re already seeing lots of inventory selling out fast. Here's one of the top fares out of this huge unadvertised sale, fly from Newark to Venice, Italy for $396 roundtrip for spring and fall travel. Departures are available daily starting in April through May then again from September through October. Perfect for shoulder season to avoid cruise crowds and hotel price hikes. This fare will require a long layover in Lisbon on the return leg but treat it as a bonus, and you'll get a 2-for-1 to explore lovely Lisbon along the way. As an example, I found seats departing EWR on Saturday, September 14 and returning from VCE on Monday, September 23, 2019.

Ft. Lauderdale – Guayaquil $248 Roundtrip on JetBlue

Today’s your last day to take advantage of JetBlue’s Blue Carpet promo code sale which shaves off 20% off the base airfare on all JetBlue operated flights. By entering GLITZ in the promo code field, you'll see those savings appear on itineraries departing on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between March 5 and June 12, 2019. Using this promo, I found further discounted deals on JetBlue's newest international destination, Guayaquil, Ecuador from Ft. Lauderdale for $248 roundtrip. While Guayaquil is on the mainland, it’s the jump-off point for many cruises and flights to the bucket list worthy Galapagos as well as an excellent base for visiting Ecuador's spectacular southern beaches. For sample dates, I found inventory departing FLL on Wednesday, May 1 and returning from GYE on Tuesday, May 7, 2019.

Chicago – Denver $102 Roundtrip on Southwest

Southwest’s latest nationwide sale has some great deals out there for spring travel. Take this one, for example, travel from Chicago-Midway to Denver for $102 roundtrip, nonstop through the middle of May. Since Southwest flights can only be purchased directly with the airline, that's where I went to find availability for this fantastic fare. I was able to find tickets at the listed price leaving MDW on Tuesday, April 2, with returns from DEN open on Tuesday, April 9, 2019. Other dates are widely available, but the sale ends this Thursday so you’ll need to start planning your Rocky Mountain high on the hurry.

San Diego – Maui $258 Roundtrip on Alaska and Hawaiian

We love to see a great sale like the current one on Alaska Airlines, but what we love even more is when other airlines join in on the fun and price match! Like this one here from San Diego to Kahului, Maui for $258 roundtrip, being matched by Hawaiian Airlines too. Flights on both airlines are available as soon as next week through the end of May on Mondays through Thursdays. One-way fares are available for $129 so you can mix-and-match between airlines to create a custom itinerary. I was able to find seats at this price departing SAN on Thursday, March 14 and returning from OGG on Thursday, March 21, 2019. Other dates are available throughout the fall but book soon as the sale ends tomorrow February 28 at midnight.

Boston – Halifax $199 Roundtrip on Air Canada and WestJet

Here’s another fantastic fare with airlines playing the match game. Fly nonstop on either Air Canada or WestJet from Boston to Halifax, Nova Scotia for $199 roundtrip through mid-June. Skip taking the ferry and fly your way north of the border on this short hop, you’ll be happy with all the time you’ve saved. Departures are available at this price on Monday through Wednesday; however, other days of the week are just $2 more. Searching on the Air Canada site, I found seats available departing BOS on Wednesday, May 8, returning from YHZ on Monday, May 13, 2019. Inventory is wide open on this route so you shouldn’t have any trouble finding dates that work best for you.

Los Angeles – Austin $97 Roundtrip on Multiple Airlines

While Spirit gets a bad rap about their service what they should deserve a little more praise on is bringing low prices to routes that traditionally run on the expensive side. Here's a prime example, Spirit is introducing new service between these two airports starting on May 2, and we've already seen the impact it's having on competing airlines like America, Delta, and United. Forced to match flights are now as low as $97 roundtrip to Austin on these carriers that were once charging nearly double. While tickets on these carriers aren't as plentiful at this price as Spirit, you should be able to find scattered availability throughout the spring with the majority of inventory opening up from August through October. I was able to find seats on American departing LAX on Friday, September 6 and returning from AUS on Tuesday, September 10, 2019.

Washington DC – Sao Paulo $583 Roundtrip on Air Canada

Samba step your way to Sao Paulo from Washington DC-Dulles for $583 roundtrip on Air Canada this fall or winter. Departures are available starting on October 27 through the end of the booking calendar in January; peak holiday dates in are blacked out. Travel any day of the week except for Saturdays. Booking through a third-party site may see a slight drop in price, so its best to purchase this fare on Priceline or Expedia. I found tickets on Priceline leaving IAD on Monday, November 4 and returning from GRU on Tuesday, November 19, 2019. Dates are wide open so long as you start searching from late October onwards.

Pittsburgh – New Orleans $76 Roundtrip on Allegiant

Allegiant is making it easy for Pittsburgh locals to visit the Big Easy with roundtrip flights starting at $76 roundtrip this spring. Nonstop flights depart on Mondays and Fridays in April, and most inventory is on flights leaving Mondays only though. I was able to find trips at this price point departing PIT on Monday, April 1 and returning from MSY on Friday, April 5, 2019. Keep in mind that Allegiant fares only include one small personal item (small backpack, purse, etc.) that does not exceed 7x15x16 inches. Standard carry-on size bag fees start at $15-$25 each way. Checked bag fees start at $18-$30 each way.

Miami – Paris $381 Roundtrip on Corsair

New route alert! Ever heard of Corsair? Course not. The small French airline is starting up four times a week nonstop service from Paris to Miami on June 10, 2019. While flights in the summer are on the pricey range, I found tickets departing from September onward to be much more budget friendly at $381 roundtrip from MIA to Orly. As an example, I found itineraries at this great price departing MIA on Wednesday, September 18 with return flights from ORY available on Wednesday, September 25, 2019. This fare falls into Corsair’s version of Basic Economy meaning no checked luggage is included in the price, just carry on baggage.

New York – Las Vegas $181 Roundtrip on JetBlue

I couldn’t finish this list off without another one of JetBlue’s promo code deals. Again by entering GLITZ when booking a Tuesday or Wednesday flight you’ll get 20% off your fare as long as you book by the end of the day. Bringing flights from New York-JFK to Las Vegas down to $181 roundtrip, that's a $35 savings. I was able to find this price available departing JFK on Tuesday, April 30 and returning from LAS on Tuesday, May 7, 2019. Use the extra money you save for hitting the jackpot and upgrading to Mint on the way home!
