Houston – Chicago $102 Roundtrip on Southwest
Fly nonstop from Houston-HOU to Chicago-MDW for $102 roundtrip on Southwest Airlines this winter and spring. Use these two city's secondary airports to save with Southwest and bring along two bags while you're at it. Tickets at this price are available one-way for $51, departing late February through May 15, 2019. Departure days will vary, but you'll have the most luck finding inventory on midweek service. As an example, searching on the Southwest site, I found seats departing HOU on Saturday, March 23 with return flights from MDW available on Saturday, March 30, 2019, giving you a full week in the Windy City.

New York – Barbados $342 Roundtrip on JetBlue
Unfortunately, Barbados just upped their airport taxes making flights to this idyllic island a bit more in price. To combat that, JetBlue has been trying their best to lower their base airfares to Bridgetown with this nonstop deal departing JFK for only $342 roundtrip. Travel dates are scattered, but you should be able to find times that work best for you in mid-March through early May. I was able to find an itinerary at this price departing JFK on Monday, May 6 and returning from BGI on Wednesday, May 15, 2019. Peak spring break dates are often unavailable, but there is some overlap on select routes.

Denver – Paris $399 Roundtrip on Norwegian Air
Enjoy spring sipping suds on the Seine with this fantastic fare from Norwegian. Fly nonstop from Denver to Paris-CDG for $399 roundtrip on one of the airline's new 787 Dreamliners. This LowFare option only includes a carry-on bag, but that's all you'll need to enjoy a week or weekend away in the French capital. If you haven't flown Norwegian before, here's what to expect and a quick review on when I flew them to Paris last autumn. Seasonal departures are available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday starting on April 1 with returns open until October 16 at this price. I found seats leaving DEN on Friday, April 26 and returning from CDG on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. Perfect for an extended weekend in the City of Lights.

Philadelphia – Key West $216 Roundtrip on Delta and American
Are you looking for the island vibe without having to leave the country? Then Key West is the spot for you. Fly from Philadelphia to Key West for $216 roundtrip on either American or Delta this spring, late summer, or fall. Flights are available daily; however, spring is selling out quickly, and dates are few and far between, so your best bet is looking from August onward if your travel schedule isn't as flexible. I found seats departing PHL on Saturday, August 31 and returning from EYW on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, stretching over the Labor Day long weekend.

Los Angeles – Trinidad & Tobago $367 Roundtrip on Copa Airlines
Finding the beaches of Southern California too crowded? Then head to Trinidad and Tobago on Copa Airlines for $367 roundtrip to claim your own spot in the sun. Flights to this Caribbean couple are available daily starting in mid-March with departures through May then again from late August onward through the end of the year. Itineraries route through Panama City where you can often add a day stopover by using Copa's multiday tool and since Copa is a full-service airline, meals and checked baggage is still included. Searching their site, I found fares at the listed price departing LAX Friday, May 3 and returning from POS on Tuesday, May 7, 2019. Other travel dates are widely available.
