These prices are all at prices below what we regularly see for that specific airport pairing and destination. Some of these airfares are a part of ongoing sales, and some are unadvertised deals that may only last for a limited time. If any of these fares grab your attention, we recommend you book quickly to avoid missing out on a bargain buy.

Chicago – Casablanca $519 Roundtrip on Iberia

Here’s a fantastic fare from Iberia to Morocco. Fly from Chicago-ORD to Casablanca for $519 roundtrip this winter. Flights are available on most days from late January through March 8. A three-day minimum stay is required and the layover times in Madrid are nice and short. On Iberia’s site, I found seats departing ORD on Tuesday, January 22 and returning from CMN on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. So escape the Chicago winter with this exotic destination on the rise for 2019.

Boston – Nashville $97 Roundtrip on JetBlue

Fly nonstop from Boston to Nashville for $97 roundtrip this winter on JetBlue. This fare has been hovering over the $100 mark for the last few months so this is a nice little price drop and the cheapest we’ve seen it in a while. Tickets at this price are available daily starting on January 14 through February 14, 2019. Warm up yourself with some Nashville hot chicken this winter instead of being stuck outside in the New England winter shoveling your driveway. For example, I found inventory departing BOS on Friday, January 25 and returning from BNA on Saturday, February 2, 2019. February vacation days blacked out at this price.

Washington DC – Nassau $286 Roundtrip on American

Fly from either DC airports to Nassau, Bahamas for $286 roundtrip this winter or spring on American Airlines. Departures are valid mostly for midweek travel but scattered dates on the weekend might be available if you are flexible with your travel plans. The travel window is from late January through early June. Some itineraries may require a long layover but those can be avoided if you are flexible or purchase two-separate one-way flights and return to a different DC airport. As a sample trip, I found tickets departing DCA on Wednesday, April 10 and returning from NAS on Tuesday, April 16, 2019. Other dates in this period are available for just a few dollars more.

San Jose – Austin $157 Roundtrip on Alaska

Here’s a great fare from Alaska’s latest round of web deals. Travel nonstop from San Jose, CA to Austin, Texas for $157 roundtrip through March. If you can swing Tuesday, Wednesday, or Saturday travel from late January through early March you’ll see that this fare price is wide open. You’ll have until January 7^th to book this deal to the Lone Star capital and grab yourself some blue ribbon BBQ. On Alaska’s monthly search tool, I found tickets at this price departing SJC on Saturday, January 26 and returning from AUS on Saturday, February 2, 2019.

Los Angeles – Hong Kong $511 Roundtrip on Cathay Pacific

Try out 5-star airline Cathay Pacific on your way from Los Angeles to Hong Kong for $511 roundtrip this winter or spring. You’ll have to book quickly as this deal is set to expire tonight (but often we see sales like this last a few days extra). Travel is valid Monday through Thursday starting in late January through the end of June, departures must take place before mid-May. Other airlines are matching this price, but Cathay’s service is one of the worlds best so it’s best to fly with them. I was able to see flights at this price departing LAX on Tuesday, May 14 and returning from HKG on Thursday, May 30, 2019.

Detroit – Atlanta $124 Roundtrip on Southwest

Southwest’s sale is still running strong through the New Year and here’s a great fare to match. Fly nonstop from Detroit to Atlanta for $124 roundtrip for winter and spring travel. Flights at this price are available on most weekdays from late January through the end of April. Searching on Southwest.com (the only place you can buy Southwest tickets), I found seats departing DTW on Thursday, March 7 and returning from Atlanta on Monday, March 11, 2019. Using Southwest’s low-fare-calendar will allow you to see a wide range of what dates are available for this fare.

Phoenix – Melbourne $618 Roundtrip on United

Is Australia a bucket list destination for you? It’s looking like 2019 might be the year for you to check it off with amazing fares to Oz happening on the regular. Take this deal for example, fly from Phoenix to Melbourne for $618 roundtrip on United Airlines this winter, aka Australian summer. Tickets at this price are scarce but if you play around with travel dates in February and March you should be able to find dates at this price. For example, I found seats departing PHX on Monday, February 11 and returning from MEL on Thursday, February 21, 2019. Other dates may require two-connections or cost just a few dollars more.

New York – Ponce, PR $197 Roundtrip on JetBlue

Fly nonstop from New York to Ponce, Puerto Rico this winter on JetBlue for only $197 roundtrip. Escape the rat race of NYC and put yourself in island mode in Puerto Rico from late January through the middle of February. Dates are selling out quickly but I was able to find tickets at this price departing Tuesday, January 29 and returning from PSE on Wednesday, February 6, 2019. Other dates are available at $230 roundtrip in this timeframe, still a great deal on this route.

Miami – Stockholm $398 Roundtrip on SAS Scandinavian

The SAS sale is ending today so make sure to book your trip to Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen and beyond before prices jump up again. Here’s a sample fare from that superb sale – fly nonstop from Miami to Stockholm for $398 roundtrip. Flights are available on select dates, and nonstop flights aren’t always available on the return leg but you should be able to piece a ticket together at this price if you are flexible with your dates. I found seats available departing MIA on Friday, March 8 and returning from ARN on Saturday, March 16, 2019.

Cincinnati – San Francisco $137 Roundtrip on Delta or United

Fly nonstop from Cincinnati to San Francisco for $137 roundtrip on either Delta or United Airlines this winter. Flights are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays from January 22 and March 9, 2019. United still has stringent carry-on rules so it’s best to book with Delta if you want to bring on board a normal sized carry-on item. Using Google Flights, I found seats departing CVG on Wednesday, February 20 and returning from SFO on Tuesday, February 26, 2019. Other dates are easily found in the listed travel window.
