WOW Air has been struggling lately with many routes being cut in recent weeks. In addition to those routes being cut, I noticed today that Chicago flights seem to be suspended for the winter season between late January and March. It appears that WOW Air is trying to give some good news in the midst of all this trouble by having another 50% off holiday promo code sale. Flights to Europe are as low as $151 roundtrip.
Enter promo code WOWXMAS when booking on wowair.com to apply the discount to the base fare of a roundtrip purchase for travel from January 7 through June 10, 2019.
Since WOW Air has cut many routes, this promo code discount will only apply to flights departing from Baltimore (BWI), Boston (BOS), Detroit (DTW), Newark (EWR), Montreal (YUL), and Toronto (YYZ). Promo code fares are not eligible for the free stopover program, but you may be able to find some routes on certain dates that have long layovers in Iceland if you wish to stop on your way to or from Europe.
Even with WOW Air's many fees, some of these routes don't see that many flash sales on other airlines and WOW Air can still often be the best price after you add in any extra fees that are necessary. WOW requires that you sign up for the free MyWOW membership to purchase fares using a promo code. All you need to do is give your email address and agree to receive a newsletter.
