Later this month, Air Tahiti Nui will introduce the first of its brand new 787-9 Boeing Dreamliners with service between Los Angeles (LAX) and Papeete, Tahiti (PPT).

Looking to fill up the new aircraft Air Tahiti has extended its sale with fares for $787 roundtrip. Departures are valid on select travel dates starting on November 20, 2018, through March 31, 2019. Blackout dates from December 14 through January 6, 2019, apply.

Air Tahiti Nui's Dreamliner service will operate three to four flights weekly to start until the delivery of additional Dreamliners allows the carrier to replace its existing fleet by next year. That means those who have their heart set on flying aboard the new Dreamliner should confirm the aircraft before booking because it may be an A340-300 until the older fleet is swapped out.

For those wanting to connect beyond Papeete, flights to Bora Bora are available for $1160 roundtrip.

Tickets must be booked by November 16, 2018.
