Today Southwest Airlines released its 3-day winter sale, and this is one of the better offerings that the Texas-based carrier has posted over the course of the year. These sale prices are roughly based on distance: with the $49 one-way tickets available for shorter journeys, the $79 and $99 one-way for mid-distance flights, leaving the $129 options for the cross-country and favored routes. Meaning the most expensive ticket in the entire sale is only $258 roundtrip. With over 1,000 routes discounted, there are definitely some deals to be had! 

Seats are available for travel only on Mondays through Thursdays, as well as Saturdays, starting from November 28 through December 19, 2018, then again from January 3 through February 13, 2019. As you can see, peak holiday travel times around Christmas and New Years are blocked out, but if you have any travel planned for early December or January, then this sale is tailor-made for you.

Tickets for the listed sale prices must be booked by this Thursday night at 11:59 pm, October 4, 2018.
