With this card, new applicants can earn 50,000 American Airlines AAdvantage bonus miles after making $2,500 in new purchases within the first three months of account opening. It also offers you double AAdvantage® miles at gas stations, at restaurants, and on eligible American Airlines purchases. Each year, you can earn a $100 American Airlines Flight Discount after you spend $20,000 or more in purchases during your cardmembership year and renew your card. Other benefits include your first checked bag is free on domestic American Airlines itineraries for you and up to four companions traveling with you on the same reservation. Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive World Elite™ Mastercard®
This is the top of the line American AAdvantage cards and it features numerous premium benefits. First, you can earn 75,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles after spending $7,500 in purchases within your account’s first three months. You also receive 10,000 AAdvantage® Elite Qualifying Miles (EQMs) after you spend $40,000 in purchases within the year. It also only offers double miles on American purchases and one mile per dollar spent elsewhere.
Benefits include an Admirals Club membership for both the primary cardholder and all additional authorized users. You also get free checked bag for the cardholder and up to eight companions. Other benefits include priority check-in, priority airport screening (where available) and boarding privileges for you and up to eight travel companions on the same reservation. You even get a statement credit of up to $100 every five years for the application for TSA PreCheck or Global Entry, which includes PreCheck. Finally, you get a 25% discount on in-flight food and beverages. There’s a $450 annual fee for this card, and no foreign transaction fees.
