These top fares are all at prices below what we regularly see for that specific city pairing and destination. Some deals are part of ongoing sales, and some are unadvertised price drops that may only last for a limited time. If you’re interested in any of these handpicked deals, we recommend you book ASAP to avoid missing out on a bargain buy.

Boston – San Juan $215 Roundtrip on American

Fly from Boston to San Juan, Puerto Rico for $215 roundtrip on American Airlines this winter. Flights at this price are available midweek from late January through early March. No minimum stay required and this fare books into American’s main cabin fare bucket. As an example, I found seats departing BOS on Wednesday, January 30 and returning from SJU on Saturday, February 2, 2019.

Philadelphia – Ft. Lauderdale $140 Roundtrip on JetBlue

JetBlue is offering nonstop flights from Philadelphia to Ft. Lauderdale for $140 roundtrip this fall and winter. Flights are available Monday through Friday starting in the middle of October through early February. Dates in 2019 are easier to find than those in the fall. Searching on Jetblue.com, I was able to find seats departing PHL on Tuesday, January 8 and returning from FLL on Friday, January 11, 2019.

Seattle – Melbourne $686 Roundtrip on Air Canada

Flights to Oz have been on sale as of late, and here’s a good fare from that bunch of discount deals. Fly from Seattle to Melbourne for $686 roundtrip on Air Canada this fall. Departures are limited at this price, and you'll have to book with Priceline to find this fare, but its worth it as other airlines and sites are offering for several hundreds more. Depart on Monday or Wednesday from the middle of November with returns available in early December. If that window is too short for your travel plans, flights in January, February, and March can be purchased for $40 more. As an example, on Priceline, I was able to book a seat departing SEA on Monday, November 12 and returning from MEL on Wednesday, November 28, 2018.

San Francisco – Barcelona $302 Roundtrip on American

Here's a fantastic fare from San Francisco to Barcelona for $302 roundtrip on American Airlines this winter. With a price this great, there is a string attached, and that is it books into basic economy and doesn't include a checked bag. Other than that if you can pack lightly, you can also go light on your bank account. This fare is available on select dates from the middle of January through the end of February 2019. Searching on AA.com, I found tickets at this price departing SFO on Friday, January 18 and returning from BCN on Sunday, January 27, 2019. This fare requires a 7-day minimum stay.

Denver – Dallas $90 Roundtrip on Southwest

Fly nonstop from Denver to Dallas-Love Field for $90 roundtrip on Southwest this fall or winter. Flights are available from Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday on select dates in October, November, January, and early February. One-way trips are available for half the price at $45, so you can also build an itinerary with one of those flights and return on a different airline. On Southwest's site, I found seats departing DEN on Tuesday, November 6 and returning from DAL on Wednesday, November 14, 2018. You will have to be flexible to see this fare at this price point.

New York – Hanoi $543 Roundtrip on China Southern

Fly from New York-JFK to Hanoi, Vietnam from $543 roundtrip on China Southern this fall. The travel window is relatively small and only available for last minute departures in October and returns available in early November. Flights are available daily, and the connections in Guangzhou (CAN) are quite reasonable on most dates. As an example, I found tickets at this price departing JFK on Thursday, October 18 and returning from HAN on Saturday, October 27, 2018.

Los Angeles – Nashville $217 Roundtrip on Delta and American

This fare sounds like music to your ears, fly nonstop from Los Angeles to Nashville for $217 roundtrip on Delta or American Airlines. Flights are available daily starting in late October through early June 2019. On Google Flights, I was able to find seats departing LAX on Wednesday, April 10 and returning from BNA on Friday, April 19, 2019. This fare is widely available so you shouldn't have any problems finding travel dates that work best for you.

Chicago – New Orleans $111 Roundtrip on United

Fly nonstop from Chicago-O’Hare to New Orleans for $111 roundtrip on United Airlines. Flights are available daily starting in early November through the end of April 2019. Departures around Mardi Gras are a bit tougher to find, but there is some availability on scattered dates. Flights can also be purchased at one-way for $56 as well. This fare books into Basic Economy so make sure to be aware of the baggage restrictions before you fly. Searching on United’s site, I found seats departing ORD on Saturday, November 3 and returning from MSY on Saturday, November 10, 2018.

Dallas – Medellin $297 Roundtrip on American

Here’s a good deal from American Airlines, travel from Dallas-DFW to Medellin, Colombia for $297 roundtrip. This fare is available daily starting in late October through the end of April. Most flights will require a long layover in Bogota along the way, but there are select dates when those can be avoided, or you could build in a long layover and explore Bogota for the day along the way. As an example I found tickets departing DFW on Wednesday, November 21 and returning from MDE on Monday, November 26, 2018. Perfect for a change of scenery during Thanksgiving.

Charlotte – Milwaukee $153 Roundtrip on Delta

Fly from Charlotte to Milwaukee for $153 roundtrip on Delta Air Lines. Flights are available daily from late October through the end of booking schedule in August 2019. Peak holidays are blacked out, but other than those this fare is widely available and easy to book. On Delta.com, I was able to find seats departing CLT on Thursday, November 15 and returning from MKE on Friday, November 23, 2018.
