It seems like Delta is having a nationwide domestic travel sale for fall/winter travel. Other airlines such as American, United, Southwest, Alaska, and JetBlue have matched prices in most markets. Many routes that don't usually see many sales are discounted in this sale. Have a look to see what's available. Fares are as low as $112 roundtrip.
There are many big price drops on nonstop flights from Delta hubs in Atlanta (ATL), Detroit (DTW), Los Angeles (LAX), Minneapolis (MSP), New York (LGA), Salt Lake City (SLC), and Seattle (SEA). If you live in or want to fly to a small market such as Duluth (DLH), Jackson Hole (JAC), or Panama City Beach (ECP), this sale could be just what you're looking for. The biggest price drops are in the smaller markets that don't regularly see fare sales. This seems to be a systemwide domestic sale, so the possibilities are endless.
Lowest sale fares are valid for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, through February 27, 2019, with a 14 or 21-day advance purchase required. Peak holiday travel is blacked out, but you may be able to string together an extended holiday trip. Depending on the route, a Friday or Saturday night stay may be required. There may also be a 30-day max stay. Some routes may have only slightly higher fares for year-round travel or on other days of the week. Click on the fare details for more info.

Most of these fares are Basic Economy on American, Delta, and United. However, American and Delta's Basic Economy includes a normal sized carry-on bag plus one personal item. Basic Economy on United will only include a small personal item. Other restrictions apply. Consider the standard Economy price if you don't like the Basic Economy restrictions. Alaska, JetBlue, and Southwest do not sell Basic Economy and all fares include a normal carry-on allowance plus a personal item.
Checked bag fees start at $25-$30 each way on all fares, except for Southwest, which includes two free checked bags. For more info on bag fees, check out our Bag Fee Chart.
Please note, Southwest fares are only available on Southwest.com. Other carriers regularly match these sale fares, so be sure to compare to find the best deal.
