Some deals are part of ongoing sales, and some are unadvertised price drops that may only last for a limited time. San Francisco – Phoenix $148 Roundtrip on Southwest

Here’s a great fare from the ongoing Southwest Sale that we posted last week. Fly nonstop from San Francisco to Phoenix for $148 roundtrip. Flights at this price are available on Monday through Thursday and Saturdays starting in mid-September through March 6, 2019. Peak holiday travel windows are blacked out. As a reminder, all Southwest fares must be booked via Southwest's website or over the phone. As an example, I found seats departing SFO on Thursday, October 11 and returning from PHX on Tuesday, October 16, 2018.

New York – Burbank $237 Roundtrip on JetBlue

Avoid the congestion of LAX with this fantastic deal from JetBlue on its increased service to Southern California. Fly nonstop from New York-JFK to Burbank for $237 roundtrip on JetBlue. Flights at this price can be found in winter starting on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays from mid-January through February 13, 2019. Other travel days of the week can be had for $10 more. As an example I found seats departing JFK on Tuesday, January 15 and returning from BUR on Saturday, January 19, 2019.

Los Angeles – Warsaw $549 Roundtrip on LOT Polish Airlines

Fly nonstop on a new LOT Polish Dreamliner from Los Angeles to Warsaw for $549 roundtrip. Departures at this price are available on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturdays starting early November through the end of March 2019. A Saturday night stay is required and peak holiday travel dates are blacked out, but other than those restrictions this fare is wide open and easy to book. Searching on LOT's website, I was able to secure seats departing LAX on Tuesday, November 20 and returning from WAW on Monday, November 26, 2018. A free first checked bag is included.

Houston – Tampa $89 Roundtrip on United

Hop across the Gulf with this airfare deal from United. Flights from Houston-IAH to Tampa are available for $89 roundtrip this fall. Fares are limited at this price, but you will see some available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and some Saturdays starting on September 18 through October 23, 2018. If those dates don't work for you, flights beginning in January can be purchased for $101 roundtrip. On United, I found tickets departing IAH on Tuesday, October 2 and returning from TPA on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. This is a basic economy fare, so only a small personal item like backpack or purse will be allowed as a carry-on.

Atlanta – Beijing $416 Roundtrip on Air Canada

Air Canada has some great fares to destinations worldwide at the moment. Here’s one of those great deals, fly from Atlanta to Beijing for $416 roundtrip this fall. Tickets at this price can be found daily starting in late October with departures through early December, then again from late January through March, April returns available. Select dates may require two connections. As an example I found seats departing ATL on Monday, March 11 and returning from PEK on Tuesday, March 19, 2019.

Boston – Kauai $468 Roundtrip on American or Delta

Sometimes waiting until the last-minute does pay off, especially on this deal. Fly from Boston to Lihue, Kauai for $468 roundtrip this September. Flights are available daily starting as soon as today with travel valid through the end of September. So pack your bags up tonight and take that tropical getaway you've been dreaming of. As an example I found seats departing BOS on Friday, September 21 and returning from LIH on Sunday, September 30, 2018. The travel window on this fare is short, but it's quite a good discount if you can travel in the upcoming weeks.

Oakland – Paris $325 Roundtrip on Norwegian

Fly nonstop from Oakland to Paris-CDG for just $325 roundtrip on low-cost carrier Norwegian. Travel for this fare is available on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays beginning on November 8 and valid on departures through December 11, 2018. One-ways from Oakland to Paris-CDG can also be purchased for $149. This is a Norwegian "Low Fare" which only includes a carry-on bag if you need to check a bag to stock up on all the latest fall fashions the first checked bag fee starts at 45 dollars. On Norwegian's website, I could find tickets departing OAK on Tuesday, November 20 and returning from CDG on Thursday, November 29, 2018, a great option for a European Thanksgiving getaway.

Orlando – Anchorage $355 Roundtrip on Delta

Here’s a deal from one end of the States to the other, fly across North America from Orlando to Anchorage, Alaska for $355 roundtrip on Delta. There are a lot of Anchorage flights marked down today, but this seems to be the lowest city pair from the East Coast. Trips at this price point are available on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturdays in late September through the end of February. Some itineraries will require two connections, usually on the return leg. For a flight with only one layover, you'll have the best luck finding those in January and February. Via Delta's website, I was easily able to find seats departing MCO on Tuesday, January 15 and returning from ANC on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. Flights also work in reverse for those up in Alaska looking for a little bit of sunshine in Florida during the winter months.

Las Vegas – Sao Paulo $627 Roundtrip on Delta, American, or United

Everyone is on board with this deal to Brazil. Fly on either Delta, American, or United from Las Vegas to Sao Paulo for $627 roundtrip through March 2019. Fares at this price are available daily starting as soon as this week and valid through the end of March. There is a 7-day minimum stay required and no peak holiday travel as restrictions but other than those this fare is wide-open for booking. Searching on Google Flights, I found seats at this price departing LAS on Tuesday, December 4 and returning from GRU on Wednesday, December 12, 2018.

Raleigh-Durham – Belize City $332 Roundtrip on Southwest

Don't forget about Southwest's International network, because often they offer some of the best prices on those routes. Like this one here, for example, fly from Raleigh to Belize City for $332 roundtrip through April. Flights at this price are available for travel Monday through Thursday starting in early November through the end of Southwest's booking calendar in early April. As with all Southwest flights, two bags fly free, and tickets may only be purchased via the Southwest site where I found seats departing RDU on Thursday, January 31 and returning from BZE on Monday, February 11, 2019. Availability is easily viewed using the Southwest fare finder calendar.
