Mexican low-cost airline Volaris is adding two new US cities to its route map. Starting this November, Volaris will fly nonstop from both Albuquerque and Charlotte to Guadalajara.
New Low-Cost Service to Mexico from Charlotte and Albuquerque
Volaris will fly these new routes just twice per week. Flights from Albuquerque begin on November 17, 2018, and will be flown on Mondays and Saturdays. Flights from Charlotte begin on November 25, 2018, and will be operated on Sundays and Thursdays.
Intro fares are available for around $252 roundtrip on both routes by using a promo code when booking on Volaris.com. Simply select the "up to 50% off" promo or enter promo code VPN50 to discount travel through March 2019. The lowest fares are available starting in 2019.
This promo code expires at 11:59 pm CT, tonight, August 20.
Charlotte to Guadalajara $251 roundtrip, nonstop
Albuquerque to Guadalajara $252 roundtrip, nonstop
Volaris clean base fares include a total of 22 lbs. in two standard sized carry-on bags. You can add extra weight to your carry-on allowance for a small fee (starting at $18 each way) or add a checked bag up to 55 lbs. (starting at $23 each way). Baggage fees are least expensive when paid for at initial booking. Slightly higher fees apply if you add baggage prior to the day of travel and even higher fees apply at the airport.
Price includes the $25 USD (approximate) non-resident fee. Price will be about $25 less for Mexican passport holders or others exempt from this fee.
