Fly from San Francisco to Zurich, Switzerland for $340 roundtrip on Icelandair this fall.

Icelandair is having a good sale at the moment to a wide array of European destinations for sub $400 prices. Fares for these fall deals starting in mid-October through the middle of December. Travel days vary and you'll need to be flexible with your travel dates but this is a great price on this route. If you want to see Iceland along the way you can break up your trip with an up to 3-day layover in Reykjavik (KEF), creating a 2-for-1 travel deal.

You'll have to pack light as this is Icelandair's Economy Light fare. Meaning it only includes a standard sized carry-on bag plus one personal item. If booking on Icelandair.com, you can get a 20% discount on checked baggage fees during or after booking.  

As an example, I found seats departing SFO on October 10 and returning from ZRH on October 19, 2018.
