Spirit Airlines has added many new nonstop routes to the route map with new service starting this fall. To accomodate these new routes, Spirit has also decided to discontinue 10 nonstop routes at the end of the summer. Asheville and Greensboro will be brand new cities for Spirit and Orlando will see a new international network available on Spirit.
Spirit Expands to New Cities
Of course, Spirit Airlines is not everyone's cup of tea. The airline operates a bare bones business model and nothing but your transportation is included in the bare fare. If you're unfamiliar with the airline, please read our guide on How to Fly Spirit Airlines.
The new routes for Spirit will begin between September and December and most will have limited flights only a few days per week. Most fares are valid for travel through mid-February 2019.

Spirit's Bare Fares only include one small personal item (small backpack, large purse, etc.) that will fit underneath your seat. Checked baggage starts at $30 each way. Larger carry-on bag fees start at $35 each way.
