We're seeing some great deals from American Airlines to Venice today with flights from Minneapolis, Atlanta, and Detroit as low as $410 roundtrip. It looks like American is undercutting some prices from these Delta hub cities in an unadvertised sale that could end any moment. If taking a gondola ride through the city's canals or running through a crowd of a thousand pigeons in Piazza San Marco is on your bucket list (to each their own), this is the fare for you. American Airlines allows you to put tickets on hold for 24-hours so if you need to firm up your plans or think it over; I'd recommend doing that before missing out on this excellent deal.

Travel is available daily starting from today through late October. July travel dates are blacked out but you can find some summer dates available in early June and in mid-August. There is a 7-night minimum stay requirement. This fare also books into Main Cabin fare bucket, meaning you're allowed to check one bag for free.

As an example, searching on AA.com, I was able to find seats departing ATL on Monday, August 13, and returning from VCE on Thursday, August 23, 2018.
