In a press release yesterday, JetBlue announced that it will boost its service from South Florida to the Caribbean by adding a new nonstop route from Ft. Lauderdale to Grand Cayman. Along with this announcement, JetBlue is offering an introductory sale price of $192 round-trip, nonstop from FLL to GCM. Or a one-way ticket offer of $59 for the FLL to GCM flight. This price will only be available for booking through the end of today, April 18, 2018, on JetBlue.com. It is so new that it hasn't shown up on many third-party booking sites yet, but you will only have a short window to purchase, so get on it if you are interested.
This new route's departure time is scheduled in order to help with connecting passengers from both Boston (BOS) and New York (JFK). The new route will start on October 25, 2018, and fly daily through the end of schedule on January 7, 2018. However, this sale price is only valid from October, 28 through December 13, 2018, with blackout dates during the Thanksgiving holiday: November 21 through November 24, 2018.
Searching on JetBlue.com, I could find seats departing FLL on Sunday, November 25 and returning from GCM on Thursday, November 29, 2018. Departures from FLL are only available on Sunday through Tuesday and returns from GCM are available Tuesday through Thursday at this price.
