Ever since WOW air announced it would be entered the Dallas marketplace in May we've seen some really great fares to Iceland due to competition. In this case, you can fly from Dallas-DFW to Reykjavik for $400 round-trip, nonstop on American Airlines for August travel!
This fare is available for travel from mid-August through the end of October. Travel days will vary by month but as of this posting, it is widely available on most days of the week except Saturday. There is a 3-day minimum stay requirement. Unlike WOW air these fares will include a free checked bag and a standard carry-on item.
Searching on AA.com I was able to find seats departing DFW on Tuesday, August 14, and returning from KEF on Thursday, August 23, 2018.
