A: Richard Branson, the creator of Virgin Atlantic, and his business partners in the US are trying to launch Virgin America, a new airline that I imagine will be designed along the lines of JetBlue, with low fares but stylish service. However, the US Department of Transportation rejected the airline's application late last year.
